 "The Evening Continues"

Friday, February 22, 2008 * 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

     Last November, Submissive Voice hosted "An Evening with Sir Jo." It was a wonderful night of sharing and caring about everything from San Diego's Leather Lifestyle to values, admiration, respect, expectations and traditions within the world of submission. The night cannot be better. Or can it?  We are going to do it again! Please come and join us!!

Doubts? Reservations? Uncertainty? Hesitation? Becoming a part of the BDSM lifestyle can create some subtle to intense situations. Knowledge is strength. But where do you go for answers? Who do you ask? You go to every event but when is the right time to ask "that" question? Then finally, you know whom to ask, when to ask, but feel a bit reluctant to ask a question you might think to be too small or insignificant.

     This night will be the continued opportunity to answer all your questions. "The Evening Continues," will be a night of enlightenment. Bring your questions, big or small. Sir Jo is pleased to speak on the topics you wish to discuss. Everything from Protocol to Family to Safety to Community to Leather to the infamous "Goober Dom", no topic will be forbidden. Write down those questions and be ready for the answers you have been waiting so long hear.

     Mark your calendars for Friday, February 22^nd. Discussion will begin promptly @ 7:00PM, arrival time begins @ 6:00PM. This event is "invite only." Event and location/directions will only be given to those who RSVP. REPEAT: This is a private - by invitation only - event.  Please do not forward this invitation to anyone. Due to the fact that not everyone is a Submissive Voice member, if you know of someone who is submissive, or submissive-curious, that would benefit from this night and you can speak on his or her behalf, please email me.

     As with past Submissive Voice events, this is a "submissive space only." Your ride/driver, Dom or S/O may drop you off at the door. S/He will not be permitted entrance. Pick-up/conclusion is scheduled for 9:00PM.  

Our Speaker:

     Jo Blas, Ms. San Diego Leather 2000 and International Ms Leather 2000, has been a solid and influential member of the San Diego Leather community for many years. A warm and wise leatherwoman who has overcome enormous personal adversity, Jo regularly engages in outreach and community service.

Special Permission or Requests:

     For those of you who require special permission and need to provide information about this event to another, we request you do so discreetly. San Diego's Submissive Voice Monthly Meeting

First Wednesday of every month

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Monthly meeting for San Diego's submissive people in the D/s,B*D*S*M, lifestyle that want to come and share. Discussion topics to be discussed at the meeting. This is a good place for submissives to come and get information on the lifestyle. This is a submissive's meeting for people, men or women, who are looking to further their education/experiences as a submissive or simply to meet like minded people. We would like to keep this meeting a safe space for subs to come and share with each other and learn from each other.

P L E A S E N O T E ! ! !
While we have a designated start and finish, please do not hesitate to show up late and share coffee or a dessert. We are still trying a new venue! Keep in mind we can change locations if the atmosphere is not what we would like to experience each month. Have a suggestion for a venue? We would love to hear it. Remember we are still taking up a dinner slot BUT beverage service is welcome. Tipping is always expected of deserving service. No kids, no fetish wear and we are known as THE VOICE or the computer user group. Whichever feels more comfortable for YOU !! Please behave like adults. We would like them to want us back.
